In terms of viral-worthy burger chain campaigns, many consumers may automatically think of the main contenders like Wendy's, McDonald's and Burger King, and while those are always a hit, there are also several from more regional options such as Shake Shack and In n Out.

A noteworthy campaign launched in 2017 comes from New York City's Shake Shack in the form of a fitness-branded customer club. The Shack Track & Field workout group encourages customers to "run their buns off" and hosts a number of meet-ups where like-minded runners can work for their beloved burgers.
