Burger King Korea's Whopper Tattoo Promoted an Upgraded Whopper

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Burger King Korea is giving Whopper lovers the chance to get stamped with a scannable barcode Whopper tattoo that can be redeemed for rewards. This promotion also coincides with the newly upgraded Whopper introduced this spring and a bobblehead version of the fast food chain's mascot took to the streets to share instant, temporary tattoos featuring one of 50 flame-inspired designs created in collaboration with professional tattoo artists.

At Burger King kiosks, those who got stamped with a branded barcode tattoo can claim a free Whopper and a soft drink. 8,000 enthusiastic Burger King fans in Korea participated in the campaign, which required significantly less commitment than similar activations that reward fans for their loyalty when they get inked with branded tattoos for life.
