Top 100 Food Trends in September

From sandwich-inspired chip flavors to cream cheeses infused with chocolate cookies, the highlight of the September 2025 food trends is collaboration.

Though not exactly new, collaborations seem to have ramped up in the latter half of 2024 – both at restaurants and among packaged goods. On the restaurant side, one of the most noteworthy partnerships is the Cinnabon x Warheads collaboration, which consisted of creamy Cinnabon cinnamon rolls sprinkled with Warheads' signature popping candies. Another interesting collab was between NYC's PopUp Bagels and OREO on a cookie-infused cream cheese.

The September 2025 food trends also include several consumer packaged goods collaborations, including the Walkers and Heinz sandwich-inspired chips and the limited-edition Coca-Cola-flavored Oreo cookies. There's also the recent partnership between Frankford Candy and Baskin-Robbins on a collection of chocolates sold at retailers.
