Good Start Packaging Launches a New Range of Takeout Containers
References: goodstartpackaging & fooddive
Good Start Packaging has launched a new range of compostable takeout containers, including 24- and 32-ounce plant fiber burrito and round bowls, complete with universal matching lids. This expansion addresses the need for PFAS-free, sustainable packaging options in the industry.
The new bowls and lids are made from plant fibers and are certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute. Good Start Packaging developed this product line in response to difficulties sourcing similar items that were both eco-friendly and free from harmful chemicals.
The universal lids are designed to fit both sizes of bowls, reducing the need for multiple lid types and lowering inventory and storage costs for foodservice operators. Secure closure tabs on the lids help prevent spills and maintain product integrity. Additionally, Good Start Packaging plans to introduce corn-based PLA lids in the near future to further enhance its sustainable product line of compostable takeout containers.
