Top 70 World Trends in August

The August 2019 world trends feature many innovative travel ideas, bizarre hotel designs, and much more. The broad range of concepts that were explored this month pushed boundaries of new experiences from all over the world.

One of the standout examples can be found in the UK, where Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects began building shipping container micro homes. This project is entitled 'Gatehouse Road' and takes place over 26.2 square meters of land, where the homes will be low-cost and conscious of greenery. A more bizarre world trend this month is the 'Avo-Condo,' which calls out to avocado lovers everywhere. It is an accommodation space that is available for two nights and guests are able to enjoy themed treats and decor within the unique building.
