MAD Architects Introduced the Never Hut in Foshan, China

Architecture firm MAD Architects has introduced a round pavilion that is finished with a dynamic roof dubbed The Never Hut. It is located in Foshan, China, and was designed for The Guangdong Nanhai Land Art Festival. It is a rounded hut nestled in the village of Yanquiao just on the riverside. The studio aimed to pay tribute to the 'collective childhood' memories.'
The founder of MAD Architects, Ma Yansong shares the design concept, sharing "This project is about capturing the freedom and wonder of childhood while providing a space for the community to gather, reflect, and imagine what lies ahead. The Never Hut is a celebration of imagination and community – a space where childhood memories find a new home."
