The Collective Studio Co., Ltd designed the Nest, which is a residential project nestled by the riverside that borders between elevated architecture and the nature that surrounds it. The structure takes the environment around it into great consideration and creates a playfully curved silhouette.
The Nest is inspired by the idea of an actual nest, representing a home that is both a refuge and something a part of nature itself. The idea integrates the landscape of Bang Kachao as it is resting by the Chao Phraya River, overlooking the tranquil surroundings. As a result, it is a peaceful place of rest that is both expansive and calm all at once. It sections off to two wings that connect to a large ground floor hall.
