From Mineral-Rich Face Creams to Crayon-Inspired Makeup
Riley von Niessen — July 1, 2018 — Fashion
The June 2018 cosmetics trends incorporate bio-tech skincare products, unique makeup collaborations with unexpected brands and celebrities, progressive beauty classes, and more.
One of the most noteworthy inclusions comes from Sephora, as the international beauty brand and retailer recently introduced cost-free beauty classes for members of the trans community. Although Sephora had planned to launch the classes for some time now, its representatives wanted to ensure the perfect execution, and did so by providing sensitivity training to artists, holding focus groups, and finding the best locations. As not all consumers have access to the beauty classes in the 150 Sephora stores hosting them, the retailer also created tutorials for YouTube that can be access anywhere and at any time.
