The top interactive marketing trends offer a look back at some of the most popular Halloween campaigns, including many experiences that play with real-world "horrors." While Sun-Maid set up a haunted Raisin House to play up the disappointment that trick-or-treaters experince when they get a little box of shriveled grapes, Barilla hacked the #CreepyPasta tag to encourage people to tell tales of broken spaghetti and overcooked pasta.
In preparation for the holiday season, brands are launching virtual tastings, digital try-ons, augmented reality filters and other events within the Metaverse to engage the next generation of shoppers. Prada, for example, is re-releasing its beloved Prada Candy fragrance with a virtual avatar to introduce the iconic scent to Gen Z.
