Celebrate Global Tiger Day by Raising Animal Rights Awareness:

July 29 marks Global Tiger Day. This annual celebration raises awareness for tiger conservation. Otherwise known as International Tiger Day, this yearly event was first established in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. In the past 100 years, 97% of wild tigers have been lost. Several tiger species are already extinct and currently only 3,200 live in the wild. In fact, according to http://tigerday.org, we can expect all living tigers to face extinction in five years. This is in large part do to environmental concerns and poaching.

There are many forms of animal conservation. From shockvertising to cruelty-free products to cute Coca-Cola commercials, there are many ways to make your voice heard. Being socially conscious and taking action is especially important, as animals can't voice their own concerns. In the case of the beloved tiger, making a difference is a more timely pursuit than ever before.
