pitusa's Sustainability Campaign Focuses on Reducing Waste
Many fashion brands are launching sustainability campaigns in order to position themselves as leaders in the quest for minimizing environmental impact while still being able to offer consumers striking and functional apparel for different occasions. In April, contemporary fashion brand pitusa highlighted its mindful sustainability campaign which involves a focus on reducing textile waste by encouraging past customers to recycle their old pītusa clothes.
Running from April 1st to April 22nd, customers have the option to either ship their old clothes to the warehouse or drop them off at the Wynwood flagship store. As a reward for their contribution, participants will receive a 30% discount towards a future order and free shipping credit on that order. All donated clothes will be collected and recycled by the UpCycle Project. The clothing will be transformed into valuable raw materials, thus contributing to a more resourceful world and sustainable fashion industry.
