From Cross-Sector BoP Networks to Trio-Aligned Sustainable Shops
Tiana Reid — June 11, 2013 — Social Good
From cross-sector BoP networks to trio-aligned sustainable shops, these purpose-fueled partnerships take collaboration seriously in an effort to create change through businesses. Some of the last of these organizational profiles covered on SocialBusiness.org have been invested in partnerships as a system -- and not simply through one time events or products.
For instance, the Ontario Catapult Microloan Fund is a streamlined entrepreneurial opportunity created in part by the Centre for Social Innovation and as a whole, offers four opportunities through one application. The Centre for Partnerships for Development is a cross-sector organization that works with those at the bottom of the pyramid or, as it is also known, base of the pyramid (BoP). The Partnering Initiative is another organization that works across a verity of sectors.
