Founded on Valentines' Day in 2006, Bridport TLC is an organization that is led by volunteers that hopes to clean up the neighborhood in an effort to stimulate a sustainable local economy. The emphasis is on finding local solutions to waste problems.
Bridport currently offers a variety of initiatives including workshops, promotions, biodiesel, recycling schemes for small businesses, arts and crafts store, kerbside bags, waste transfer, rickshaws and other more general energy and fuel saving projects.
The history of Bridport TLC stems from community workers Leon Edwards and Tess Dickson's Community Biodiesel Project that was started in October of 2005 and expanded from there into what the social enterprise is today.
