The 2020 mobile trends highlight app launches that were devised to help consumers adjust to lockdown measures, new phones, and mobile accessories that were created to make life easier.

To capture high quality smartphone footage without having to constantly readjust the camera angle, 'Follow' was released. The auto-follow phone mount uses facial recognition to keep track of where the user is, ensuring that their face is always in frame. In addition to helping to create better quality footage, the device decreases editing time.

In response to the long lines at essential businesses like grocery stores throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Safe Queue app was launched to help stores manage their capacity, and decrease wait times for their customers. If the business uses Safe Queue, customers can reserve their spot in line virtually, allowing them to remain in their car while they wait so that they can avoid crowds.
