2013 was a year that saw much innovation in business trends, particularly with respect to retail strategy and campaigns.
With respect to retail stores, the role of vending machines showed a huge change in the way by which consumers actually attain goods. Vending machine strategies, particularly when used in a public way, also doubled as effective marketing campaigns.
Another way in which the business sphere changed this year was in terms of the portability of locations. Instead of being reserved for food, brands turned to trucks, carts and temporary locations to go directly to where the consumers were.
