Top 100 Tech Trends in June

From Anti-Slip Gaming Mouses to Dedicated Mobile Device Controllers:

The June 2021 tech trends spotlight the latest in mobile hardware, interesting app launches, tech-powered workout gear, and so much more.

As consumers continue to largely rely on DTC business models in response to the pandemic, it's more important than ever for retailers to bridge the gap between in-store and online shopping experiences wherever they can. In line with this, Snapchat has introduced its try-on experiences, which use AR to enable smartphone users to test out outfits from different brands. As the experience all takes place within the app, retailers also benefit from Snapchat's large user base, while users can get a better sense of a particular garment before they buy it.

Another noteworthy inclusion comes from Sinan Anayurt, a designer who presents the conceptual LG Lily. The device uses OLED technology, which would enable users to choose the flower of their choice and then include it on the virtual display. The LG Lily is adjusted with a smartphone, allowing users to switch between different plants and watch their virtual plant pet grow.
