From Personalized Designer Heels to Shopping Consultation Apps

Although a lot of the things we buy are mass-produced, a customized shopping experience can instantly turn a product that looks like any other into something that is uniquely your own. This past year, luxury brands like Prada and Jimmy Choo have offered shoe customization services, but these kind of experience have moved beyond catering to people who can afford personalized designer goods, as seen in a Levi's event where people were invited to get a denim garment embroidered.
In some cases where it's difficult to customize a product itself, the shopping experience itself can be turned into something tailored with help from staff, augmented reality or apps. This makes the experience of picking a product interactive, highly personalized and it still caters to the individual needs of a consumer.
