12 Mini Model Cities

From Desolate Digital Metropolises to Toothpick Cityscapes:

These mini model cities are scaled down versions of the real thing -- only made with everyday household items like pots, books, toothpicks and even jelly.

These projects are not your average middle school diorama. Each cityscape is made so that each individual item is stacked up to varying heights, just like the buildings in the downtown nearest you. For example, the Jelly cityscape by Liz Haycock is created after San Francisco, down to the roads, high rise color theme and parking lots. In comparison, the Potato Peeled city by Peter Root is an imagined town made from 60kg worth of real potatoes and carved into different shapes.

These art pieces took an unimaginable length of time to finish but in each case yield truly incredible results.
