Gavin Portillo and Mario Ledo Create a Dollhouse Concept
References: linkedin & behance.net
Mario Ledo works with Gavin Portillo to create a unique dollhouse concept that is similar to the functions of LEGO blocks. When LEGO first began, it was only literal block pieces that could be used to create animals, structures, cars, and other imagined items. Later on, specialized pieces came including wheels and gears but the overall aesthetic remains and now the BLUID-IT series is a design concept that builds on that same notion.
The goal is to create something that allows for a more expressive form of creative combinations -- specifically to build dollhouses. There are hundreds of ways to create a doll house so these pieces include staircases, sinks, tubs, pillars, and more. This way, users can get creative and create more than a single level.
