Jacques Monneraud creates the visually appealing Cardboard collection of ceramic art materials. The capsule pushes creative boundaries as the structures look like cardboard extraordinarily. Some of the most common household items are made including vases and pitchers.
Just as the namesake suggests, the designs appear to be cardboard in terms of color and visual detail. It is actually made from clay and is essentially a statement of “mockery of overproduction and overconsumption” but it is also a fully functional item as well which can be used on dining tables or decor in living spaces. Monneraud wanted to create the texture and overall visual aesthetic of cardboard whilst also keeping the ceramic components of the designs.
