At the F8 developer conference, Facebook announced that it will be adding AR camera effects for Facebook Messenger and is currently conducting tests on this new feature with select partners. Similarly, Snapchat is also looking to enhance its app with shoppable augmented reality ads that work in the same way as its classic lenses.
As much as mobile devices become more technologically capable by the day, some consumers wish to disconnect from them entirely. In a bold move, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro was introduced as a phone that does not have the ability to access data over 3G, LTE and WiFi networks.
