These incredibly diverse cardboard products highlight how versatile this very commonplace material can be.
Recyclable, and better yet cheap, cardboard has been used to make furniture, packaging, speakers and much more. Though not an inherently attractive material, cardboard can be painted and decorated as designers wish, and is very flexible in terms of appearance. Often seen as a more eco-friendly solution to packaging and manufacturing, cardboard is likely to grow in popularity over the next few years to appease customers' need for affordable and responsible products.
Though branding and packaging seems to change from minute to minute, cardboard is a medium that seems to have staying power. Flexible, malleable and inexpensive, there's no better material for manufacturers and designers to use.
