Despite its environmental impact, product packaging cannot be completely discredited since it helps to protect its contents, significantly doing so in the name of safety for all edible goods. The designers behind Chocolate Ecopack do, however, recognize the volume of wrapping material that simply gets discarded after purchase, so they have come up with a more resourceful system for storing scrumptious treats.
Natural beeswax and recycled cardboard have been used in the manufacturing of these unique boxes. A printed square base is capped by a midsection of folded bellows and another structured compartment up above. The container can be contracted or expanded based on the number of truffles one may wish to put inside. Fastened shut by natural twine, Marisol Escorza and Federico Beyer's Chocolate Ecopack is a "one size fits all" parcel for handpicked sweets.
