From Long-Distance Rideshares to Ride-Ordering Speakers

Using an Uber service gives the public the chance to get their hands on more than just a car on demand. Part of the success of this disruptive company could be attributed to the many new services that are being offered to ensure its members are being given a convenient way to get everything from groceries on an average day to a Christmas tree for the holidays.
While most Uber users are familiar with getting into the passenger seat, the company has also used its sharing economy service as a means to offer test drives for the Volkswagen up! and the zero-emission Renault Zoe.
In addition to being able to place a car order via the Uber app, users can now also call for a rideshare via Facebook Messenger or Alexa-enabled Amazon devices like the smart Echo speaker.
