From Deco Diamond Branding to Nostalgic Snack Branding
Jamie Danielle Munro — April 4, 2014 — Marketing
Although it doesn't take much to encourage most people to wander down the sweets aisle, this candy packaging will add an extra layer to that temptation. These examples of candy branding are distinct and alluring, proving that an extra push in design can make or break a sell.
Some of the best designs are the ones that offer a sneak peek of the candy inside, without showing too much skin. The open-mouthed candy packaging for YUM Factory shows hilarious animated characters on the front. A clear plastic section has been placed in the mouth area, making it look like the characters are actually chomping down on delicious treats. There's nothing like teasing consumers with a little critter whose enjoying himself much more than the onlookers!
