Creative graphic designer Bernelle Visser brings these quirky character drawings to life for this packaging assignment for YUM Factory. She managed to make the mouth an intricate part of this design, which helps to showcase the contents, as well as make the packaging stand out.
For the creative brief, Visser was instructed to use either animation of characters, so she decided on a few funky-looking critters to adorn the front of this candy. Colorful hues were used to keep with the youthful aesthetic, and to match the various patterns of the sweets. The best part really is the mouth and lips area of the packaging as it doesn't overwhelm the design but instead gives onlookers a main focal point to look at.
