From LEGO Subway Stations to Animated Subvertising

Subway ad spaces are pretty ideal for grabbing the attention of a captive audience, since advertisements at least provide something interesting to look at when there’s limited Wi-Fi and the dreaded possibility of having to make eye contact with strangers.
Some subway stations have begun to integrate digital advertisements and some brands like Apoteket have even gone to the extent of making the ads responsive to their surroundings.
In addition to poster-like ads, subway performances are also quite popular, since they provide a form of entertainment and usually cause people to whip out their phones and record them. A brilliant example such a subway stunt is one by the International Culinary School, which had a model loudly tout a Chanel bag onto a subway car and then sit down to take a bite out of the edible cake purse.
