With 2012 marking the 50-year anniversary of the formation of Liverpool's legendary pop band, The Beatles, and talk circulating about the possible formation of The Beatles: Version 2.0, a breadth of creative Beatles commemorations have been surfacing.
When the mop-topped quartet hit the stage for the first time, they elicited what has now become known as Beatlemania -- a trend that has lost little of its momentum a half century after the band formed.
Postage stamps, hi-top sneakers, t-shirts and tattoos are among some of the fashionable tributes to the band but the memorabilia extends to include computer gadget accessories linked to the band and fast food campaigns featuring the famous Abbey Road crosswalk.
