From Drive-Thru Liquor Stores to Secondhand Booze Shops
Ady Floyd — January 22, 2016 — Art & Design
These experiential booze shops are completely changing the way consumers shop, select products and make final purchasing decisions regarding alcohol. There has been a recent surge in the way liquor stores, beer stores and wine outlets cater to their consumers, which is evident in these new shops.
For example, there are now supermarkets that offer consumers the option to sip local craft brews while they peruse the aisles. Additionally, the 'Winestore' caters to consumers by simplifying the purchasing experience with bright, yet minimalist signage and taste-testing stations. There are even pop-up alcohol stores and free-standing kiosks.
The expansion of these booze shops is also taking up e-retailer space. There are alcohol delivering services, online wine shops and mobile sommelier apps to help consumers select their products. With so many options, consumers have more opportunities than ever before to experiment, taste-test and find a new favorite beer, wine or liquor.
