From Jumbled Text Ads to Memorable Logo Charts
Laura McQuarrie — November 28, 2015 — Marketing
Rather than relying on text to deliver a message, strong visuals are commonly used in the top November 2015 print advertisements.
Simple, clever graphics that spell out a message are being used across multiple industries like automotive, safety and beauty. In the case of print advertisements for health, this is exemplified in ads from Oral-B that bend dental floss into the shape of superheroes to communicate strength, or Mr. Sun, which uses stills from iconic movies to share the dangers of too much sun exposure.
As well as being humorous, many print ads are also going bold, such as Volkwagen's ads for the new Beetle R-Line and the sneaky way Kit-Kat's recent ad tells James Bond to take a break.
