From Video Game Cafes to Social Coffee Houses

Coffee houses are branching out to become much more avant garde, and appeal to a wider demographic. In order to do this, business owners are taking risk and experimenting with everything from video game cafes to pet-centric java stops.
In Japan, one shop in particular pays tribute to the Final Fantasy franchise, with various characters and logos used from the video game. Also in Japan, the Rabbit Cafe exists for anyone wanting to go in and get some cuddles from these cute critters. It seems like no matter what your preference, you'll be able to find coffee houses that suit a wide range of needs.
While traditional coffee houses are still going strong, perhaps these developments signal potential changes within the industry.
