At first glance, the Noorderparkbar may look like a rickety old shed of sorts. Once a person peers inside, however, the pristine white interior with Noorderparkbar's modern fixtures and decor will make people think twice. Made out of repurposed raw materials sourced from nearly 100 different individual online traders found in Netherlands, this odds and ends building has a beautiful bric-a-brac appeal that will enchant anyone who stumbles upon it.
The Noorderparkbar is a collaboration project between Amsterdam-based studios Bureau SLA and Overtreders W. The main components of the Noorderparkbar was taken from a temporary hospital. While the walls on the bottom half of the Noorderparkbar swing open invitingly to allow an unobstructed view of its park surroundings, its upper portion features a fragmented pattern to allow even more light in.
