Implications - The notion of friendship has morphed with this latest generation. "Faux friendship" is now the latest obsession. You can hire people to be your friend, have virtual social media mates and even replace your spouse with a doll who represents physical perfection. Face-to-face contact is no longer necessary in order to maintain a relationship and soon, another human may not even be necessary if technology keeps advancing the way it has.
