Instagram is Rolling out the Flipside Feature On User Profiles
Instagram is introducing a new alternative feature to its users dubbed 'Flipside.' which is similar to the concept of 'finstas.' The platform creates the feature to allow its users to form a secondary photo grid that only a select amount of friends will be able to view and interact with.
This is not a new concept as the platform already has options to limit audiences such as the 'close friends' on Stories. Previously, in November of last year, the social media platform rolled out the option to share grid posts with 'close friends' to breach beyond the stories option. Flipside offers a very similar thing as users create distinct lists of friends to add to their 'flipside'
