The top 2023 robot trends offer a look into how advanced robots are automating tasks, taking work off the plates of human employees and even stepping into the roles of managers and CEOs with the aid of AI.
Cobots—or collaborative robots—are working alongside humans across multiple industries, assisting with everything from manufacturing furniture and packing warehouse orders to streamlining food orders. This year, Chipotle implemented the Autocado robot for the specific task of cutting, coring and peeling the many avocados it uses in its nourishing bowls and burritos.
At the same time robots are speeding up operations behind the scenes, some companies are exploring how AI and robotics can carry out leadership positions. At one innovation conference, ultra-premium aged spirit brand Dictador introduced its world-first AI robot CEO, MIKA, in humanoid form.
