Yunsoo Choi Designs an Interactive Chair Robot Concept
References: yankodesign
Yunsoo Choi designed the service robot centered around a seat solution. The mechanical structure is a concept of the extent of a service robot. The chair provides a unique interaction by using the furniture as the inspiration. It offers users a comfortable place to sit but also in doing so, it turns into a small bubble of a personal space for the person sitting.
When seated, it triggers different features with the robot's 'face' as the main interface. The tablet displays various information, ordering food, requesting service, and more. It attaches to the robot's arm magnetically and rests at the right angle or height specific to the user while they are seated. Another service includes the UV light to clean personal items, which is also a place of storage.
