'Tink's Tiny Batch Pale Ale' is the name of an all-new limited-edition beer product from the National Theatre’s riverside pub, The Understudy, that's been created to celebrate the arrival of a new production of Peter Pan at the National Theatre.
The fantasy-inspired brew created in partnership with microbrewers Hammerton Brewery takes cues from the original tale by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie. The pale ale base of this brew comes from the recipe for Hammerton Brewery's American pale N1, but features a special addition of "fairy dust." This special ingredient is actually the American hop Citra, which adds a slightly a musky, floral and fresh citrus aroma and flavor.
As Sally Cookson’s new production of Peter Pan happens at the National Theatre, the limited-edition beer product will be available at the National Theatre’s own bars and restaurants.
