Scottish craft beer brewer BrewDog has partnered with candy brand Swizzles to release the 'Parma Violets IPA,' a hazy and hoppy new brew that draws its flavor from the iconic British candy
This carbon negative brew leverages 'Citra' and 'Simcoe' hops to deliver a malt profile of wheat, pale, and oats, while classic 'Parma Violets' sweets add flora and perfumed notes. The 5.5 ABV beer will be available for a limited time only and sold exclusively at Tesco stores in the United Kingdom in single 440ml cans, as well as packs of four.
Highly experimental, the 'Parma Violets IPA,' should -- at a minimum -- pack a nostalgia-heavy punch for customers who grew up indulging in the bizarre soap-like taste of 'Parma Violets.'
