From AI Camera Lenses to Ultra-Slim Charging Cases
Riley von Niessen — June 24, 2017 — Tech
These June 2017 mobile trends incorporate a wide range of products, apps, and campaigns. A few of the innovations that are featured include the 'Jelly' smartphone, which can easily be stored in a coin pocket due to its 3.6 inch measurements, the 'JobFare' app that makes finding a job fun with its gamified components, and the 'Dexter' startup, which allows anyone to create their own chat bot.
One innovation that has the ability to make a positive social impact is the mobile technology that was developed by Streetsmart, which enables outreach workers to track those without homes in NYC. In addition to tracking those in need, the technology allows professionals to input information concerning their health and income so that they're better able to help them down the road and see where major gaps in the system are.
Another helpful innovation that's featured in these June 2017 mobile trends is the Pocket Sense App, which prevents one's smartphone from being stolen. Meant to be activated when the user is in a crowded public space, Pocket Sense sends out a loud alarm when it's lifted to scare away anyone who might be trying to take it, or at least let the user know who it is who has their smartphone.
