L'Oreal recently introduced a new Facebook Messenger bot called the 'Beauty Gifter' to help make the task of selecting and giving beauty gifts a bit easier on the recipient.

While there are many gift-giving quizzes out there that can be helpful for suggesting product ideas, they typically only ask for information about the recipient. L'Oreal's Beauty Gifter begins by inquiring about both the gift-giver and receiver. The bot also asks for information on the occasion, one's budget, relation to the recipient and other basics to get started.

After the gift-giver has filled out their portion, they are invited to share the tool with their recipient to get a better understanding of the kinds of beauty gifts they might enjoy, based on factors such as price and their personal style.
