Designed to encourage healthy eating, this cooking app for kids is currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The Meal Monsters app, which is already available in the App Store, is aimed towards young children and teaches them how to cook healthy recipes.
Co-founders Elisa Galbraith and Mary-Kei Macfarlane hope to expand the Meal Monsters brand and develop the app further in order to host interactive stories and games as well. The cooking app for kids lets the young users engage directly by following the adventures of three veggie-growing, radish rocket-riding, Planet Yum-inhabiting characters.
Based in the UK, the educational app is one way to get little ones interested in healthy lifestyle habits early on.
