The top July 2020 activism trends reflect changing times and momentum created by a new generation of activists. In recent weeks, heightened activism focused on the Black Lives Matter movement has seen brands launching resources to increase the visibility of Black-owned businesses and amplify the voices of Black creators. With people protesting—and showing up for virtual protest events—all over the world, issues related to safety and anonymity are being brought to light with face-obscuring masks and digital tools.
