From Gravity-Defying Street Art to Braille Art Exhibitions
Laura McQuarrie — July 23, 2016 — Art & Design
These lively July 2016 art ideas use a variety of media to express a range of ideas on everything from pop culture to environmentalism.
One of the most interesting projects was created as part of a collaboration between IBM Watson and six artists as a way to explore the relationship between man and machine. The fusion of art and technology is a prevalent theme in other examples that embrace the use of 3D printing, virtual reality and robots.
Alongside a number of dynamic installations, exhibits and sculptures, there are also a number of unique new museums appearing—Japan's 'Kenchiku Soko' is a destination for viewing architectural models, while Sweden is now home to the first-ever IKEA Museum.
