From Masquerading Food Merchandise to Sliceable Snack Cartons

Branding and packaging have the power to transform a product; while fruit packaging innovation doesn't seem like a revolutionary idea on the surface, sometimes a simple idea can go a long way.
For instance, Bigger Harvest designed a packaging concept that combined two foods in one. Though the products being sold were tangerines, the packaging came in an orange net shaped like a carrot. It is this type of fusion and conceptualization that keeps us guessing. Packaging that combines elements of play, whimsy and surprise, as well as excellent design technique, will continue to grab our attention.
Other examples of fruit branding include the Shake It Up smoothie packaging, which keeps the ingredients separate for a more intense flavor. Each carton is an easily stackable fruit-shaped carton, which alludes to its content.
