From 3D-Printed Typography to Optical Illusion Packaging
Meghan Young — February 8, 2015 — Art & Design
This collection of February 2015 design products involves a hodge-podge of different concepts from technology to tattoos and home decor. Yet one thing that connects the designs is a sense of playfulness that points towards the idea of not taking things too seriously. Luxury armchairs are masquerading as giant telephones, tape dispensers are re-imagined for the crafty tech-savvy individual and even employee manuals are updated to be as fun as they are informative.
The February 2015 design products introduce a good-natured spirit that is often sorely lacking during the winter months. By concentrating on happy designs, people will surround themselves with a constant reminder to smile and laugh. Granted, these February 2015 design products still serve practical purposes.
