From Moderate Adventure Tours to Sleep-Focused Nordic Hotels

2021 may not have been the best year for traveling, but the 2021 travel trends proved that the hospitality industry continues to pivot and innovate.
With many consumers overworked and overdue for a vacation, the travel industry pivoted to target weary, burnout workers from all walks of life. These kinds of travel campaigns took many forms, but one great example is the Hotel St. George in Helsinki, which is outfitted with a sleep lab and aims to help travelers solve their many sleep woes. Another example is the Good Spot hotel, which allows travelers to connect with nature in abandoned isothermal trailers in remote off-grid locations. Perhaps the most extreme example of this travel trend is the Silo Wellness' 5-MeO-DMT retreats in Jamaica, which offer psilocybin and ketamine treatments to those with a range of ailments.
