From Ultra-Luxe Underwater Residences to Trans-Supportive Fashion
Many of these 2019 luxury trends deliver a series of elements that focus on premium experiences, whether it is a product or service. Some qualities include customization, inclusion, and memorability. These ideas ensure special interactions that will last.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island opened its doors to the first-ever underwater residence, which invites a plethora of travelers as well. The experience is entitled the 'Muraka,' which is a Dhivehi translation of 'coral.' This space is a two-level underwater building, with the top level featuring a large bedroom, living room, kitchen, powder room, gym, bathroom, bar, and dining area as well. The lower level is more relaxed, with an even larger bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Notably, this residence comes with security and a butler to enable the ultimate luxury experience.
Another luxury scope is the exploration of fashion, highlighted by Gypsy Sport. The label introduced its Fall 2018 capsule recently, showcasing transgender models on the runway to create what the designer explained to be a "safe zone for personal expression and positivity." This high-fashion inclusive concept opens an inviting space and features premium fashion for men, women, children, and non-binary people.
