In addition to offering its raspberry-infused gin by the bottle, Pinkster is now offering recyclable three-litre bag-in-box packaging called 'Pinkster on Tap.' The entirety of the box, including the gin pouch and tap, can be recycled after use.
In the same way that many wine products are offered in bag-in-box packages, Pinkster on Tap helps to reduce glass waste, as well as the use of a heavy packaging material. As Stephen Marsh, managing director at Pinkster notes: "Bag-in-boxes have been enjoying a renaissance in the wine world, with many retailers reporting a surge in sales and we see no reason why this shouldn’t be the case with spirits." The new eco-friendly packaging format aims to appeal to both consumers and the on-trade market.
