From hyper-realistic set recreations to movie-inspired ride-sharing promotions, there are plenty of innovative film and TV activations that highlight how experiential marketing is a useful and important tool for media marketers.
In order to celebrate the opening of the Diagon Alley attraction at NBC Universal Orlando, the brand hosted an immersive brand activation inside London's King's Cross Station. The laid back event engaged passersby with a Diagon Alley-inspired photobooth and offered consumers information on planning a trip to the park.
Hosted at South by Southwest 2016, an elaborate marketing experience inspired by the Coney Island story world of television series Mr Robot got attendees excited ahead of the show's upcoming second season debut. The interactive event included a 100-foot ferris wheel inspired by the Wonder Wheel at Coney Island and a replica of the show's F Society hacker den.
