Consumers and industry analysts are beginning to see the rise of eco-friendly hybrid vehicles in the mainstream. The high prices of gas are taking their toll on the public. Especially in countries where the economy is faltering, people are having a harder time filling up their gas guzzlers every week. With this struggle comes a genuine desire for vehicles running on alternative fuel. Whether it's electricity, hydrogen or pedal powered, these eco-friendly hybrid vehicles produce less emissions than standard gas burning cars and are undoubtedly the way of the future.
Racing cars, which most would assume would be the last to move from gas burning engine models, have actually been among the most innovative hybrid vehicles. Also, many of the concept cars being designed these days start with a hybrid engine system. It's become the norm for future car designing.
